Motorcycle Repair: Change the oil pump on 96 FLHTCUI, flhtcui, oil pump

Hi Mike,
The oil pump went out on my 96 Ultra Glide FLHTCUI. I own the HD service manual but want to verify what pump part number I need and if there's any hints/suggestions for changing it out. Thanks

If you are going with a harley oil pump and its black the number is 26050-92. I would suggest that you take it apart first. You might just have a broken keyway and dont need to change the whole oil pump.
On replacing it is going to depend on if change out the oil pump shaft, but just follow the service manual and you will be fine.
