Motorcycle Repair: NO START ANND BACKFIRING, float bowls, yamaha 750

THE BIKE RAN FINE  I PARKED IT NOW IT WILL NOT START IT TURNS OVER AND  BACK FIRES   BUT WILL NOT START   ANY ADVICE WOULD BE APPRECIATED  ITS A 76 YAMAHA 750 TRIPLE  JUST HAD  CARBS REPLACED IN AUGUST AND POINTS  REPLACED  
IN JULY PLUGS I DID  IN MARCH AS I DO EVERY YEAR

usually if a bike is parked very long without
fuel stabilizer the carbs will get gummed up.
If it seems to have spark,
try draining the float bowls and see if fuel
is getting to the carbs.
If the spark is weak, you may have to check the
points.
If you can narrow it down to lack of fuel or
spark that will help.
You could try some wd40 or carb cleaner in the
intake and see if it will run on that. If it does
then you know it's lacking fuel.
