Motorcycle Repair: 1974 yamaha dt100, injector oil, question pool

Question
When i got my cycle the guy told me he always mixed the gas and oil and the oil injector Was not hooked up.I see were the injector oil hose comes down from the reservoir and hangs there plugged with a screw.My ? is how can i check the injector to see if it really is broke and that the tube did not just get pulled out of the cover.Any suggestions is helpful Thanks Ian

Ian,

I saw your question in the question pool and
answered it. The oil line you mentioned
goes down and connects to the pump.
Make sure it is not plugged or dirty before
you connect it to the pump.
The injection line is a small white or yellow
line that goes from the pump to the engine.

It uses a special bolt with a hole in the
side so oil can flow through it.

I mentioned the white wheel and air bleed in
my other post.
