Motorcycle Repair: 2007 street bob headlamp fuse, light fuse, lighting system

Question
I keep blowing the head lamp/ tail light fuse after only a few seconds.
I notice a little water in the bottom of the fuse box when I remove it.
I assume that water is getting into the fuse box, and the reason that it is shorting out the headlamp fuse and not the others is that the headlamp fuse is on the lower right corner?
If you think this is the reason, how can I stop water from getting into the fuse box?
Or, do you think that it may be a different reason for the fuse to keep blowing?

Answer
I would start by drying it out very well and install a new fuse. If it still blows then you have a short in the lighting system. If you have a short, then you are going to have to start traching out the wires. Look for a broken, crushed or chaffed wire.
Good luck and happy riding
