Motorcycle Repair: Can I add a battery to my motorcycle?, exterior lighting, panka

Question
I have a 2005 Honda Ape 100cc (same as xr100 dirtbike) which has no battery.
I am wondering if it is possible to add an aftermarket battery to power my lights. Is this a large project or fairly simple to do?

What are some options to add better lighting?
Led, Hid? or would i have to add a battery?
The lights get somewhat bright only when the engine revs up.

Hi Kevin,

If the system has no exterior lighting, the stator is not built to provide that type of power, however, even if the bike has so much as a nuetral light, you SHOULD be able to tap into that power wire to obtain lights...
