Motorcycle Repair: 2000 zx6 kawasaski ninja valve adjustment, kawasaki ninja zx6, valve adjustment

this is my first streetbike and it needs a valve adjustment.  dont have the money so hoping i can do it.  i am a pretty good mechanic on cars, trucks, semis etc., gas and diesel.  so was tring to find out the specs and if it takes a special tool.  it is a 2000 kawasaki ninja zx6.  600cc 4 cyl.  u may not know but hoping for some guidance to find out.

hi ray, all you need is the proper specs, a set of feeler guages, and a new top end gasket (around $20)
Best bet is to pick up a service manual. If the engine runs fine, AND it doesnt make any odd engine noises, i would leave it alone untill it does, chances are very slim it will need ANY type of adjustment so soon..
