Motorcycle Repair: 96ci S&S Super Sport Oil Sys, oil tank, panka

I have a new custom bike with a 96ci S& S engine (120 mi)
It has sat for a while and when I tried to start it, it pumped oil out the breather. I thought, over time, it had drained down into the case, as the tank was empty. I drained the case. refilled the oil tank and it started normal. After a hour of sitting I tried to start it again, it pumped oil out the breather again, the Oil Tank was empty. It would be warranty, but I won it in a raffle and the company that built it no longer exists.

Hi Dick,

This is very common for bikes where the breather is located too low as opossed to the engine. Try re-locating the breather higher than where it is. Try up high above the engine somewhere it wont be seen...
