Motorcycle Repair: Air Filter, stock air filter, panka

Hello listen I have a 07 FLSTF Fatboy I really didnt like the stock air filter cover. I have a Screamin Eagle HI-FLOW and I have taken the center custom insert cover off the big bulky stocker, and placed it directly on to the air filter leaving an exposed filter with quite a nice look kinda like the Arlen Ness BIG Sucker exposed. Anyway is this cool its a wire mess over kinda filter, dont think it will come apart will it let my motor run alright or is this possibly going to damage something.... Thanks

Hi Randy,

If youve already got the Hi flow, AND the download stage II from HD, then all that is is a chrome cover, It'll be exposed to the weather, however all alone it wont damage anything but the filters' life..
