Question
i have a pw50 yamaha 1997 automatic if you give it gas it does not move
do i need a centrifugal clutch if so what kind how many teeth or
anything about it tell me what kind please thanks

Answer
Justin,

-your clutch is made by Yamaha and is under the
right crankcase cover.
-There is a circlip holding the clutch
housing on and under it there are two
little shoes with springs on them.
-These look like little brake shoes
and have a friction lining on them also.
-If the lining is worn off, the clutch will
slip. Also examine the housing for
excess damage.
-You will likely have
to get new parts from Yamaha or other
supplier like Bikebandit.com for that
specific model.
