Motorcycle Repair: front break lever and assembly, sporster, brake lever

I took a spill(low speed) on my Harley 2002 sporster 1200 and broke the break lever but also brok the part it attaches to. Can i repair this myself. Can you tell me the part number i need.thanks for your help  bill

You can repair it yourself. The part that the brake lever attaches to has the master cylinder as part of it so it will have to be replaced and the brakes bled. The part numbers are going to depend on which model you have. Check with your local dealer and they can help you out on the parts.
