Motorcycle Repair: rear brakes, rear brakes, disc brakes

Question
I have a 1992 sportster with disc brakes, how hard would it be to change the
pads and caliper.  What would it look like if the caliper seized.  It looks like I
have no pad left, and it is against the disc.  The brakes squeak when riding
and I smelled something like they were burning.  Could the caliper be stuck it
looks kinda rusty now, since I got caught in the rain and it has been acting up
ever since. It feels like they are grabbing like the back brake is on.  This is my
first bike, so I am new at this.

Answer
If your caliber seized the brakes would wear out and the bike wouldnt pull because the brake is hiolding it back.
I would remove the caliber and remove the puck in it to make sure its not sticking. You dont need to buy a new one. While it out change the pads.
Your best bet is to get a service manual and it will give you the steps on how to remov ethe caliber and take it apart and what parts you need
Good luck and happy riding
