QuestionI HAVE A 1983 V65 MAGNA.I HAVE A INTERMITTENT PROBLEM WITH THE TURN SIGNALS.
THEY SOMETIMES WON'T WORK(LIGHT JUST GOES OUT).RIDE IT FOR A FEW MINUTES AND THE START WORKING

-get yourself a testlight or multimeter if you don't
have one. There should be power to your flasher
relay at all times with the key on.
-I think the wire is white and some other color.
-The grey wire goes up to the handlebar
signal switch. See if you have power on the grey
wire when you turn on the signals. If not
the flasher may be faulty.
-if it looks like power is getting through the flasher
then the problem is likely the turnsignal switch
on the handlebars. Sometimes the self-cancelling
feature is not such a great feature.
-check all fuses and connectors for bad connections
-check battery cables.
-check bulb sockets for corrosion.
