Motorcycle Repair: starting motorcycle, electrical circuitry, fuel tanks

Question
I have a 1969 FLH all original except for the carb. I have an S&S Super E. This motorcycle been parked and covered in a garage for about 8 yr's and not started. It has a kickstart and I have periodically turned the engine. I'm attempting to start it up but need a few tips prior to this initial start. I have removed and flushed out the fuel tanks and reinstalled with new fuel lines. I have an authorize S&S dealer take apart, clean, and install a rebuilt carb kit on my S&S carb.I have installed new 12V battery and verified all wiring and electrical circuitry is checked out functionally.
1)Do I need to remove old engine oil and add new oil prior to start up?
2)Should the S&S carb squirt in gas as I throttle it? With the teardrop cover removed, I noticed no gas was squirting into the intake manifold. This carb has the accelerator pump and I not sure if it works like my old Bendix carb where I could see the gas being pumped in as I opened up the throttle.
3)Are there any other suggestions or recommendations you have for me prior to this start up?

Answer
I would go ahead and drain the fluids and replace them. Run the bike for about 100 miles and change it again.
Yes the carb should squirt gas down the throat. Your pumper might be turned off.
Sounds like you have done everything else you need to do
Good luck and happy riding
