Answer
Ernest,
was the bike overheating? If so you need to check
the cooling system, radiator, thermostat, hoses,
fan, fan sensor, water pump.
If it won't start but is not overheating,
you need to see if it has spark when it quits,
Take a spare plug with and stick it in a plug wire
and turn it over.
No spark could be the pulse generator coil.
If it has spark then you likely have a problem
with fuel. Check for plugged gas tank vent,
check gas flow from tank or fuel pump.
Check fuel filter.
Once you narrow it down to spark or fuel,
then other tests can be done to isolate the
exact component causing the trouble.
