Motorcycle Repair: RC51 Clutch Master Cylinder Replacement, clutch master cylinder, banjo bolt

Question
I have to replace the clutch master cylinder on my 2001 RC51.   Is there a
bleeder screw on it somewhere?  Any help or gotchas would be greatly
appreciated.  I already have the new part with a new braided hose cable, so I'd
like to replace everything I had with what came on the new part.

Thanks!

Answer
Troy,
Assemble the master cylinder as usual but
leave the lower banjo bolt out.
Fill the reservoir with dot4 brake fluid
and put the end of the hose into a jar with
the end covered with fluid.
Pump it slowly until all the air is out,
keep topping up the reservoir with fluid.
Now attach the lower hose to the slave cylinder.
The slave should have a small bleeder screw
on it. Pump the lever and hold, open the screw
and bleed the air. Tighten the screw before
releasing the handle to prevent
any air from getting in. Top up your fluid
and it should be ready to go if all goes well.
