Motorcycle Repair: Rear Tire clearance 81 Yamaha 850 Special, shaft drives, yamaha 850

Question
Good day.  I just took over my son's 1981 Yamaha 850 Special and he pointed out that the rear tire is slightly rubbing against the swing arm (left side of tire).  He said that when he got it back from the shop, the wheel cleared just by a hair.  When he took the wheel off to replace the brake pads then re-installed, the tire began rubbing.  Any suggestions on how to adjust this?  Thanks in advance.

Answer
Ken,
on shaft drives, there is usually no adjustments
to make. Other than something being out of place, worn,
or missing a spacer. Did you increase the air pressure?
Is the wheel turning okay other than the tire rubbing?
I would disassemble it and see if all looks well,
Don't overtighten the assembly, about 50 ft/lbs is good.
