Motorcycle Repair: CM450E, head bolts, head gasket

Question
I have a 1982 Honda CM450E, I have torn it apart and honed out the cylinders, replaced the cylinder gasket, head gasket, new rings, ans adjusted the valves.  I'm ready to reassemble, but I don't know what to torque the head bolts to! Do you know the torque specs on head bolts?

Thanks!

Answer
Rob,
Torque is mainly dictated by the bolt sizes.
6mm bolt = 6-9 ft/lbs.
8mm bolt = 12-16 ft/lbs.
10mm bolt = 20-23 ft/lbs.
Just tighten in small increments and
in a diagonal pattern until all are torqued.
Should lube the bolt/stud threads.
I would retorque the head after
running if possible, if not, go
a few extra ft/lbs but not too much
as bolt can strip which is not fun.
