Question
Hi, thanks for the help.
I own a Yamaha XVZ1200 1984. Last trip my warning light started bflashing every 10 to 15 minutes I have the owner's manual but I didnt find any infos. Can you tell me what problem can taht light diagnostic. I check my brakes fluid, my radiator, my clutch oil, my engine oil. every thing is ok. Thanks again for the help. Michel C.

Answer
Michel,
some of the sensors for warning lights can be
sensitive and/or faulty i suppose.
Sometimes it is the oil level moving as you
slow down or speed up, the sensor may think
your oil is low.
Just make sure all your fluid levels are good
and if it persists you may have
to start checking for poor connections.
Try checking, cleaning any connectors you
can see. The connectors and solder joints in
the electrics can be poor on older bikes.
