Motorcycle Repair: 1983 Honda Magne V45 750 turn signal, left turn signal, right turn signals

Hi Mark:
Just purchased, doing some adjustments. I removed the Headlight from housing to access the bolt for the left turn signal. Now the right turn signals do not function (left is working), I can hear a ticking noise coming from the connector box under seat when the left signal is engaged. Could thee be a loose connection? both signals work properly prior to the remaoval of headlight.

Hi Richard,

The turn signals must be grounded to the chassis and properly connected for the signals to illuminate and flash properly.

If they are properly connected and grounded, I suspect you're on the right track by suspecting a loose or defective conductor or connector. Just have to trace voltage and find the source.
