Motorcycle Repair: Dyna superglide 2002 battery removal ???, battery removal, bolt

My battery is shot and I am not sure how to remove it from the bike. can you please help me out. Do I have to take the seat off to remove the battery, if so how do I remove the middle bolt form the seat. Do I have to take the tire off?

Yes you have to remove the seat. Remove the rear bolt and slide the seat backwards. It will come out of the front clip. Then slide it foward out of the strap. Looking at the top cover for the battery you will see two bolts. Remove them and the top cover comes off. Then remove the side cover. Slide the battery out where you can get to the battery posts and disconnect the battery
