Motorcycle Repair: Clutch adjustment, honda magna 750, clutch adjustment

86 Honda Magna 750 - clutch tension gone after bike has been idle for several months this winter/spring.  Is this adjustable or is this indicative of clutch failure/repair?

the clutch is likely hydraulic,
check the little brass insert near the lever pivot.
It can wear out so the lever doesn't push far enough.
Top up your fluid, you may have a leak somewhere. You can bleed the air on the slave cylinder down by the left engine case.
You may have to rebuild or replace some parts,
you might want to take it to a dealer if you're not
familiar with this.
