Motorcycle Repair: Oil Leak, oil lines, fxst

Question
I just purchased a 1986 FXST w/ 24000 miles.
I was told it was leaking oil from the back of the motor.
He replaced the oil pump & added braided oil lines. He says the leak is still there.
Compression is 90 lbs in the front cylinder & 60 lbs in the rear. I was told that the dealer had replaced the cylinder gaskets a while back. The bike has been sitting for 4 years. I was told It runs great, with the only problem being the oil leak. I am a little concerned about the variance in the compression. Is it possibly the jug gasket?
I am picking the bike up tonight & need to clean out the gas tank & carb. Fire it up & go from there.
Any Ideas ??
Thanks Todd

Answer
Your compression is to low. You either have leaking valves or bad rings.
As to the leak. Your best bet is clean the motor and run it. Then you are going to have to start looking since there are so many places around the motor that you can have a leak
Good luck and happy riding
