Answer
Hi,
Back off the clutch cable adjusters
on the handlebars and any other adjusters you can see.
Then see if it still slips.
Sometimes it is a bit tricky to get the clutch
assembled right. I would examine all the steel
and friction plates for wear, as well as the clutch hubs etc. Then reassemble carefully with some oil or ATF fluid
on the plates.
Tighten the clutch spring screws gently to avoid
breaking the hub they screw into.
Start adjusting the clutch at the bottom by turning
in the screw until it touches and back it off 1/4 turn.
Then lock it, and adjust the clutch lever so it
has some free play 1/4" or so.
Note:
If the plates are worn out, they may need replacments.
Usually the springs can be reused.
A manual or parts diagram may help to reassemble.
Make sure the clutch nut is tight and anything else
in that area.
