1986 FLHTC Liberty Edition - What is the trick to removal of the locking ignition switch?

there is a pin under the switch, you need to pull it with some pliers so you can get the knob off. You will ahve to remove the fork lock assembly. To get ot it you have to remove the inner and outer fairing.
Once you have it off then remove the fork lock assemble. Once that is off remove the headnut from the switch and it should slide out.
