Motorcycle Repair: 06 sporty mileage, second tank, gal tank

what kind of mileage should I be getting on a 06 883R sportster. I've got 260 Kilometers on it (brand new and I'm on my second tank. I only got 145 kilometers (approx 85 miles) on a tank. It's got the 3.3 gal tank. This doesn't seem right at all. somehow I don't think it was PDI'd properly.

You should be getting around 200 miles on a tank, but its going to have to do with riding style, weight of te rider, if there is a passenger and how much you hotrod.
Since its new I would take it in and have it checked
