Motorcycle Repair: oil changes, dipstick, oil changes

Question
I have a 99 soft tail classic, to change oil in transmission how much oil is needed and to change oil in primary chaincase how much oil is needed?  I don't have a manuel.

To fill the primary have the bike upright and remove the inspection cover. Fill to about the bottom of the lip of the cover. About 1.5 qts. The trans, needs the bike upright also. Fill to the mark on the dipstick. Takes about 1 qt
