Motorcycle Repair: scratched paint, clay bar, paint job

i dropped my harley and now have a small but deep scratch on my tank. how can i fix it without huge cost of a whole new paint job? i would be happy with just a touch-up or keeping it from getting worse.

Debbie Debbie Debbie.If you can catch your finger nail in the scratch while running it across, its not going to go away.But there is ways to blend them in unless its that bad,or it is a dark color.I would suggest taking it to a detail shop in you area,do some research and find out who has the best creditionals.At the detail shop they can either buff it with a clay bar that will fill it in.Or use a synthetic compound to level the scratch so that it is not that noticiable.I am glad that i could share with you.
