Can it be set to pull easier?

Answer
Hi Linda, Take the derby cover off, then take all the adjustment out of the clutch cable (so there is slack). Remove the circlip from the clutch clevis pin at the lever. Now lubricate the cable with some penetrating oil(be liberal). Replace these components, then go back to the clutch pack and remove the spring and lock plate. Turn the adjusting screw until resistance is felt. Now pull the clutch lever in 3 times, this will make sure the ball and ramp are seated correctly. Now loosen the the adjusting screw a 1/4 - 1/2 turn away from the point of resistance. Replace the lock plate and spring. Adjust the clutch cable by taking up the slack until you have 1/16 - 1/8 play at the lever and clutch perch. Replace the derby cover, and check the ease of operation. If still not satisfied, you can purchase different kinds of easy clutches or assisted clutch lever components, check with your local shop.
