Motorcycle Repair: speedo drive, brake rotor, fxstc

I have 1987 FXSTC. I have a front wheel off a night train that I want to put on it.The brake rotor has 2 1/4 inch center hole and doesn't have a slot for my speedo drive.Is there any way to make this wheel work with my bike?

Hi Roddy, Yes it can fit. You will have to re-space the wheel possibly, and you can have your rotor machined to fit the hub and re-notched for the speedo drive.You may also need to have the speedo drive machined down also, to space the wheel properly.
