Motorcycle Repair: pushrods!?!?, sportster, thanks for your time

I bought a set of Andrews pushrods for my 91 sportster,
(fixed lenght,non-adjustable)I can't locate my old pushrods,
but if memory serves me right, are'nt they color coded, and
differant lenghts? My service manual is'nt with me at this
point(I just need to know, which is which and if I'm freaking-out for no apparant reason!!)  Thanks for your time. Ben

You are correct, they are different lengths.  Exhaust are the longer ones, both are the same.  So two longer ones go in exhaust, two shorter are intake.  Your stock ones were equal length intake and equal length exhaust with the exhaust being the longer pair.  One set with 3 pink rings, one set with one brown ring.  Sorry I took so long, my shop is just too busy and I haven't had 10 minutes to get on a computer.
