i have a 20003 suzuki vs1400glp that was left in storage for year it was left in neutral all that time when i got the motor cycle started i felt the cluth lever was soft i squeeze in and down swifted to 1st and the motorcycle jumped forward and stalled the gearshit lever moves down to 1st and nu.2nd and so on but the cluth does not seem to be working correctly any help or quick fix on this promblem i would like to use this motorcycle

Answer
Put the front wheel against a wall.  Hold the clutch in and start the bike in neutral.  Rev it up and drop it into 1st.  Do that a couple times.  YOur clutch plates are stuck together.  If that doesn't free it up you have to pull the clutch apart and free each plate up and put it back together wet with oil.
