Motorcycle Repair: No oil pressure, oil pressure sending unit, drive shaft

Question
Trying to start my just rebuilt motor. 96 FLHTCUI  Have no oil pressure.  I checked the drive shaft on the feed pump, no keys were sheared and all the gears were operating.  Any ideas on what to look for next before I ruin all the work (and money) I put into the rebuild?

Answer
First of all you don't "start" the bike until you have oil pressure. You take the plugs out, ground them, and crank the bike until the oil light goes out.  You check the keys on the oil pump shaft?  The one that usually falls off during a rebuild is the one on the camshaft end.  Did you time the breather gear correctly?  Did you put the correct springs in the relief valve tower and the check ball tower on the top of the oil pump?  Is the the tappet screen clean? did you pull the oil pressure sending unit and turn over the motor until oil comes out?  Is the oil pressure sending unit wire grounded somewhere? How do you know you have no oil pressure?  If you have a gauge, did you bleed the feed linej?  Try that stuff.
