Motorcycle Repair: 95 softail transmission, couple ounces, tranny

I overfilled my transmission last night, after riding to work this morning there is trans.oil everywhere. Should I drain the tranny and start over? My Bike never has leaked anything kinda freakin out!

What happens is the tranny blows the excess out the breather.  Just clean it all off, drain the tranny and add only 20-22 oz., not 24.  The best rule is don't check tranny oil, just change it every 5000 miles or once a year, whichever comes first.  And don't refill it with 24 oz., cause there's always a couple ounces clinging to everything.
