Motorcycle Repair: us spec german spec whats the diff, international bikes, sport bikes

sir what is the difference between german and american spec sport bikes i am stationed in germany with the army right now and i want to buy a bike but the only stuff available is german spec so whats the diff and how hard and expensive is that to change

You need to check with the specific manufacturer.  I only do Harleys.  Harley International bikes need no modifications for the US.  There are some differences, mainly lighting type and position.  Exhaust and emission stuff is only a real problem with cars not motorcycles.
