Motorcycle Repair: Ignition Switch, local public library, shively

Question
I believe my ignition switch is bad as I have to play with it at times to get my headlight to come on.  Is it fairly simple to swap one of them out?

Hi Phillip,

The level of difficulty of replacing the ignition switch depends upon the make and model. Some are easy to replace. Others require removal of fairing or other parts.

I recommend that you get a copy of the service manual and review the procedure in advance. Check your local public library for a loaner copy.
