I want to know to take off clutch cable inside derby cover just to put on chorme cover. thanks

You should get a service manual, part #99484-04A from your H-D dealer.  First get as much free play as possible in the cable by using the cable adjuster.  Remove the left footpeg bracket.  Remove the six T-27 torx screws and the derby cover. Lift off the hex lockplate and spring (noting how it goes together).  Turn the adjusting screw clockwise to get the hex nut completely off.  Now you can remove the primary cover after you back off the primary chain adjuster underneath by loosening the 7/8" locknut and backing out the adjuster.  This takes the pressure off the primary chain and the cover should come right off.
