Motorcycle Repair: engine dies intermittingly, stabilizer, air intake

Question
1999 Road King, 15K miles - Fuel Injected - Just bought in Jan - drove it home - dies after 3-4 miles - pulled over and restarted then dove 10 miles home no problem. Took out 1st time last Sat - drove 50 miles - ran great. Drove the next day and it died on highway. It would start and die - finally got running. Died 3-4 more times while driving home.
Wouldn't start the last time it died - towed home. Started right up next day - ran at idle for 30 mins - pulled on all wiring, start/off switch etc and couldn't kill engine! Afraid to get out on it - any ideas? Did want to add that gas is 2 years old in tank, previous owner rarely drove and put a stabilizer in tank. I added 1.5 gals after driving the 50 miles.

Answer
Don't use stabilizer in the gas.  It burns poorly.  Change your plugs and clean intake bore with WYNNS air intake cleaner.   '99 fuel injection can require adjustment.  Make sure your idle motor is working by watching the front side of the intake when you turn the key on and off.  It should rotate and you should hear the motor.
