Question
i have a suzuki gn 125 it is a 2003 model and about a month ago it just died on me so i tried changing the solenoid it still wont start when i push ignition switch a clicking noise comes from solenoid but wont start any ideas

Answer
Hi Scott,

The usual causes of the clicking noises as described are:

Weak or defective battery.
Loose battery cable(s).
Worn or defective starter motor (brushes).
Worn or defective start solenoid.
Worn or defective starter button contacts.
Defective or correded electrical connectors and conductors.

I recommend that you get a copy of the service manual and lear about troubleshooting and maintaining your GN125.

Respectfully,
