Motorcycle Repair: Carbs, yamaha yx600 radian, measure adjustment

Question
I have a 1989 Yamaha YX600 Radian that someone gave to me and theres 2 things I see wrong with it.I have to replace the valve seats in the carbs and the screws are rusted and I cant get anything on them to get them out.Whats the best way to remove them without hurting the carbs? And I also have a red wire coming off the Voltage regulator and it was burned up and I cant find where it went to.It was running behind the air breather and ran down to the motor and came out the right side and ended there.

A:  If the screws heads tool slots are damaged, use a small Vice-Grip tool to remove the screws. They'll come out easily.

The red conductor should go to the battery Positive + terminal for recharging the battery.

There was no question about the valve seats (needle valve sets).
