Question
i have a 95 kawasaki ninja. my head lamp fuse blew out so i changed it,
then it blew again! I've changed it three times and it blows out within
five minutes. do you know why?

Answer
Hi Chris,

You've described a charging system problem. Check alternator output at the battery using a multimeter (VOM).

Isolate and check individual charging system components. Replace parts if resistance/voltage/current is not within service limits.

Also, check for direct shorts such as a bare wire touching ground or another conductor.

Visit Electro Sport's website and follow their "Fault Finding Chart" to test the charging system.

Get a copy of the service manual and learn about troubleshooting, testing the electrical systems, and much more.
