Motorcycle Repair: towing motorcycle, safe journey, brake drum

i have to bring a 2002honda hadow spirit/750cc/ from florida to massachussetts and i cant keep a trailer in my park.id like to use one of these hitch mounted devices tha attaches to the front wheel of the bike and tows it on its rear wheel.the bike is chain drive ,would this damage the bike at all? thanks jp cavanagh

I don't have any experience towing with one of those devices.

I recommend removing the drive chain for towing. Rear brake drum should be okay.

Consider renting a U-Haul trailer. In any case, have a safe journey.
