Motorcycle Repair: PERFORMANCE UPGRADE, samsons, jet kit

I JUST INSTALLED SAMSON BIG GUN SLASHERS AND A PROCHARGER AIR INTAKE DO I HAVE TO PUT IN A JET KIT MY BIKE RUNS GOOD BUT I WAS TOLD I MIGHT BURN UP A VALVE IF I DON'T  MY BIKE IS A 2003 DYNA  FXD

Jet kit is a waste of money.  Remove your idle jet and open it up with a .020" needle drill or replace it with a #48 jet.  Main jet should be ok but check your plugs after a high speed run.  If they are too white go one size up on your main jet.  If it has a 185 main, go to a 190, etc.  Those Samsons don't come with baffles so you might want to move that main jet up one notch like I said if you are not running baffles.
