-----Question-----
How do I change the oil on my 89 Springer Softail.  I think it is a 1565 or somewhere close to that and has a screaming eagle package.  Don't know how much of that you need but I need help.

Thanks

Look at the bottom of the oil tank and you will see a line coming off it that goes to a plug . Put a pan under the hose and remove the plug and drain. remove the oil filter and replace. Once its has drained put he plug back in and fill with oil. Check the oil with the bike sitting upright

Answer
The one that goes to the cooling is the return. The other one is the intake to the pump. There should be one other line coming from the bottom of the oil tank. That is the drain, unless you have a aftermarket oil tank, then the drain might be on the left side of the tank and there might be a plug in the tank itself.
