Motorcycle Repair: 1985 Harley soft tail, drag pipes, bolt

Mike, I have purchased a set of drag pipes for this bike complete with baffles. The baffles are 2" on one end and smaller on the other. Can you tell me how do the baffles go in the pipes and how far into the pipes do they go?

If the drag pipes and the baffles came as a set, there should be a hole in the pipes for a bolt for the baffles. If not then your going to have to drill a hole for a bolt to hold the baffles in.
The 2" end goes towards the head. Install them about 6" from the end of the pipe.
