Motorcycle Repair: Exhaust Pipes, vstar 650, loud pipes

Hi, I want to change the pipes on my 2002 VStar 650 Classic.  Confused with all the brand names and what I need to get.  'All I know is I want a loud, deep throaty sound.  Not ear painful loud but just enough to make me smile.  What am I looking for? Thanks Larry

Larry, what you are looking for may be a ticket if the sound is too loud for your neighbors and local authorities!

As this is neither a vintage Honda question or a Honda question at all, I have little to share with you about your 5 year old Yamaha 650.

What I have read recently, is that the whole aftermarket exhaust manufacture group are under a lot of scrutiny over the excessively LOUD pipes that they are producing, claiming them to be street legal and quiet.
