A: The Yamaha XS series is not extinct. They remain popular with XS enthusiasts. Any MC that is between 25 and 30 years old is rare, kind of.

A: The XS series was produced between 1976 and 1981 apx.

A: The engine worked well. I recall a common problem with the transmission's 2nd gear, though.
