i have an 86 Honda Fourtrax 350 that has a winch. i have problems with my battery. i have put 6 batteries in it and i am wondering if it is my charging system. also when i go to crank it it acts like it isn't getting fuel

A:  The problem may be within the charging system. Test charging system output. The battery must be fully charged and in good condition or test results will not be accurate. Learn more about test procedures in the service manual and at Electro Sport's "Fault Finding Chart:"

A:  The spark plugs may be worn, fouled, or the ignition system is otherwise defective. Check the appearance of the spark plugs. Clean or replace plugs accordingly and then check ignition sustem integrity by watching for an arc at the plug electrode. Do this by grounding the plug against the engine while cranking starter. A blue arc is a healthy ignition.
