Motorcycle Repair: 96 Yamaha Virago 750, yamaha virago 750, fuses

I went to start my bike after not riding for about 2 weeks and there is nothing when I turn the key.  I had a battery that was less than 2 months old.  I checked the battery and it was fine.  I checked the fuse, which was bad so I replaced it.  I still have nothing.  No lights, clicks or turn over.  Any suggestions?

Hi Pam.

 There are two (2) fuses that you should check.  There is also a main fuse near the battery, on the hot side, which is the main fuse.  Without this fuse, there will be no power to anything.

If that is the fuse that you checked, then check ALL of the other fuses.  You could have a short somewhere, which will blow fuses, or a bunch of bad fuses.

Start there and see what you find.
