Motorcycle Repair: Oil Splatter, happy new year, vent

I have a 1994 Ultra Classic It seems to have alot of oil coming out of the carb filter.Ihave checked just about everything .Is there a way of stopping this short of running a tube down to the ground?

Your vent from the bottom of the motor goes to the back of the carb plate. When you vent the air from the motor a small amount of oil goes with it and that is the oil you are getting.
What you can do is follow the hose to the bottom of hte motor, remove the hose and turn the fitting 90 degrees so it points downward. then put a shor hose on it and the air will vent to the underside of the motor.
