i am trying to modify a 1996 fltp tolook that of a fat boy, or so .what if anything on the front could give me a hard time, and do you have any suggestions,and any extra parts to sell. all i have are the tanks,caps

There is really nothing that is going to give you a hard time, just take your time and dont get into a rush.
The only parts that I would have are new ones. If you are looking for used parts, try e-bay. You should find a large selection.
